Jaime turned the hand in his trembling fingers, kissing beautiful skin, toughened here and there by the prince’s sword but without a single fault. No calluses could ruin such perfection, only prove it more resilient.

When his wandering lips found the inside of Rhaegar's wrist, brushing against the prince’s sleeve, Rhaegar turned his hand and reached up to brush his fingers over Jaime’s brow, easing the mounting anguish Jaime had stirred up within himself.

Jaime opened his eyes.

I've been meaning to ask about your commission rates, btw, I know you have a contact form on your website but my social anxiety starts going off every time I attempt to send a message through there so I end up not doing so. I've been wanting to get commissioned art done since it's been awhile, it's something I would need to save up for.

This is GORGEOUS--I love the depth here, with the shadows of the railings and the stars outside. So cool.

So, I have a couple options.

I have a flatrate/prorated option of kiss paintings. These are $80. I'll do a round of minor fixes/adjustments, but the style/format is very fixed. Busts, men, kissing, in profile, no clothes. Lilac background only. (I'M JOKING i just really like that color; it doesn't have to be lilac lol)

Everything else, I charge $25 per hour, with the hours estimated based on perceived complexity. For fandom/indie book projects, that's usually either 4, 8, or 16 hours.

(Unless someone rolls up to me with a huge budget willing to pay $1000+, I don't take on immensely complex projects like the one above.) It can be a little difficult to say for certain without hearing the project and maybe doing a few sketches what the quoted hours should be, which is why I don't have a rate sheet available.

$25/hour sounds very fair. Do you accept half-and-half or do you want it all in advance? [I'm just asking for information, the latter isn't a dealbreaker.]

I can PM you in a few days with the details of what I have in mind once I narrow it down, if that works for you? It would basically be two dudes on a simple background, I would want half- or full-body, I'm just trying to figure out which two dudes and what kind of pose I want them in.

Sure thing, though let's continue via the contact form on my site - it'll become a boring ol' email thread once you do that, so nothing too intimidating. :)

I do wait for the full sum in advance the first time I work with anyone, but we can hash out the details ahead of time.

NSFW is ok, though to avoid surprises or disappointments later I have to mention now that I can't guarantee I'll be comfortable portraying trans male characters in a sexually explicit way. Maybe, but most likely not.

I love the detail in that picture. Like, the way the cloaks drape and cluster and drop, and the view out into the night sky on the right (including the moonlight shadow for the railing) and the dark windows in the other tower and just... it keeps catching my eye with new things that actually keep distracting me from the focus on the two characters!

How beautiful! And how many details. Rhaegar's unearthly beauty, and Jaime's dreaming gaze on him... the dragon-themed harp fit for a Targaryen... Their long-nosed shoes, Rhaegar's fancily decorated and Jaime's armour. The many candles, showing drafts in the room. The draping of Jaime's cloak. Little architectonic things, like the simple but striking decoration of the tiled wall, the onion dome on that building in the distance, those two towers connected with a bridge on every floor. The very reflective flowerpot and its reflection of the room where Rhaegar and Jaime are hidden behind a wall. The beauty of the full moon and the deep blue night sky.

What an intriguing image that paints a whole world inside it.
