realized all the cherry blossoms are probably going to suffer from the deep freeze overnight so i hauled ass to the window to capture the petals in the last few rays of a pretty sunset

it’s been a weird start to spring. the stinky pear trees just deadass skipped their blossom-only phase this year and grew leaves immediately so there weren’t any pure white trees anywhere. the cherry blossoms are pretty but it’s too cold to sit outside and watch them. spring is spring, it’s beautiful and wonderful no matter what, but this one seems to be having a tough time

Yes, I think we've seen our bit of spring for the moment in Germany as well; after earning our first sunburn of the year, walking through vineyards, woods, and meadows, it's back to rain and potentially even snow. Gakh.
