Fandom Snowflake Challenge #4: Wishlist

I had... a restorative weekend. Meditated for ten hours total over three days, and another hour and a half this morning. Combined with my weekly 36 hour fast, the flavors, textures, and smells of the things I ate today were... a religious experience. I guess I'm adding a 1-hour meditation to my daily schedule from now on because this feeling is exactly what I hoped to attain and foster in January.

Anyway, FSC #4 - "In your own space, make a list of things that you wish existed in fandom or elsewhere, and/or that you'd like someone to create or do for you."

This isn't a list of things that are fillable, just... wishes.

• A yearly RaziKain zine or big bang. I don't want to organize it (that would be a disaster), I want it to exist, fully formed, waiting for me to participate.
• ....god, is that really all I want? That might be the only thing on this list. Uh...
• I want someone to see a whole fest of really pretty Raziel porn and pinups. I don't want to have to do it all myself haha.
• Sigh... yeah, I give up.
• Wait, no, I want a BruJay zine/bb too!! *covers face and cackles* god, this is embarrassing...
• Rhaegar/Jaime also comes to mind, so I guess all my wishes boil down to - I wish the small ships I care for so much were big enough to merit events. That's it.

I'm not used to... voicing... wishes. *sits here consumed with blush*

Wanting a big bang but not wanting to organise said is where I'm at in most fandoms.

We need an AI trained for running big bangs, stat. All other AI applications can wait. That baby would get so much mileage in certain circles.

I'm afraid I don't know what fandoms those are, but if the fandoms are small (rather than rare pairings in a large fandom), then you might want to check out my comm smallfandombang. It's open for artist sign-ups right now, but a new round will start Sept 1.

If that doesn't work for you, I hope you get the 'zines/BBs that you want!

Don't be embarassed by wanting more of your small ships! I always expect people with small ships or small fandoms to be thirsty - popular ships and fandoms are spoiled by comparison (with their own issues obviously, but still...)

BruJay is a pairing with such potential - there's so much you can do with the depth of emotion and the fractious history in them to play with and it always surprises me (briefly) that it's not more popular.

Yeah, I guess I'm just very used to wishing not getting me anywhere. Rather than wish and do, it's easier to just do, since typing out wishes takes up time too haha. But then, yeah, I end up strangely embarrassed when I switch gears.

I think we all have that, a little bit. Like, no, it's not all about me! Hence why the "what do you want?" and "what have you done well?" challenges always elicit so much screaming and gnashing of teeth!

Don't forget the consuming guilt and corresponding terrible misdirected anger. There's so much depth of emotion you can dip into with that pairing, and such a rich selection of directions you can take it.
